Check 7 is an aptitude assessment for adolescents in the 7th grade. The assessment reveals in which subjects and areas they have to improve in order to be able to cope with the school work during their apprenticeship.

Check 7 does not replace any other aptitude assessments, neither in trial apprenticeships nor in vocational counselling. It also does not replace school reports or any other exams. Check 7 only helps adolescents to estimate their educational skills.

The Check 7 assessment is divided into several topics and takes about 50 minutes to complete. Knowledge acquired in the following subjects in the 6th and 7th grade is examined:

• German: vocabulary, handling texts
• Mathematics: basic arithmetic, fractions, geometrical calculations
• French: vocabulary, handling texts
• Logic
• Concentration
